Description
I have personally owned this drawing for over a dozen years. It is in perfect condition and is so realistic it looks as if a photograph was taken. If you need a better picture I will acquire a professional scan. It is enclosed in glass and is difficult to photograph without a reflection. I will insure the picture for your purchase price. Here are the details: Artist: Michael J DeasTitle: Forest LightMedium: Pencil Michael Deas has created a number of commemorative postage stamps for the U.S. Postal Service, including three of the best-selling stamps in U.S. history: James Dean (1996), Marilyn Monroe (1995), and Audrey Hepburn (2003). Perhaps his best-known work is his luminous redesign of the Columbia Pictures logo, one of the most widely seen images in cinematic history. His artwork has four times appeared on the cover of Time magazine, as well as on dozens of book covers, including the 20th-anniversary edition of Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire. http://www.michaeldeas.com/default.htm Frame Size: 16” X 25”Antique Wood w/Gold Trim Inset Drawing Size: 5.5” x 11.5”Antique Wood w/Gold Trim Inset NOTE: Drawing was photographed at an angle to avoid flash from camera in the glass cover. The drawing does have a “sun flash” at the top! Professionally Framed by Gallery OneMentor, Ohio
