The painting is 24" X 30" and the media is polymer. This was a popular limited print, the image has been on several magazine covers and it even graced the cover of a popular board game. This canvas is framed with a wood frame, grey-blue tones. You will also recieve an artist proof remarque of the limited edition print of this piece. Although as an artist I now go by BETS (see paragraph below) this painting was completed in the early 1990's and is signed Betsy Klieger-Linamen. Due to this change, I will also add the signature BETS. I have sold many paintings over the years as well as numerous portraits. I wrote the book "So... You Draw Horses" and am the official artist for the Adirondack Wild Horse Preserve. I designed and wrote the Just Say Neigh slogan and logo for the Maryland Horse Rescue. At first I wasn't going to put my name here. But, after much thought, I figured I really should. You see, I originally, many years back used BETS, then I used Betsy Klieger, then I used Betsy Klieger-Linamen. Coming back to my art, I am very torn as to what to use. You see, my son was Mike Linamen, left us in 2003. He was in the National Guard, was a good kid and touched many, many people during his lifetime.  He is and will be with me in each and every brush stroke. He loved my work and was probably my most avid fan. If you ever see 4MIKE on any of my art, you will now know why. I didn't want to drop the last name because of Mike, but I think it is now ok. I can add 4MIKE to any piece of my choosing, may even hide it in my work- you will have to look for it! I think I should keep it simple and go back to BETS. So, although my first prints are signed Betsy Klieger-Linamen, as well as many of my paintings, along with the several books I wrote, I will now go back to BETS.
