You are bidding on 10 (TEN)  fantastic original Signed, Dated, Titled & matted Photographs, by American Master Photographer  RALPH GIBSON (b. 1939). These photos are in excelent condition and are part of a complete portfolio called "France Near and Far". They are all dated and signed and come with an introduction page and a portfolio case (I could not include the case's photo because ebay limits me to 12 photos).   There are hundreds of links, notes and articles on the web about this amazing photographer. Feel free to do your own search and learn more about his amazing life and art (artnet, artprice, etc) and most importantly how much his work sells for worldwide. With Frank, Gibson worked on the film Me and My Brother (1967-69) and as cameraman on Conversations in Vermont (1969). That same year he moved to New York City, where he established his personal studio. Gibson has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts (1973, 1975) and the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation (1985), a Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (daad) Exchange, Berlin (1977), a New York Creative Artists Public Service Grant (1977), and a Grande Medaille de la Ville d'Arles (1994). He was made an Officier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French government (1986) and awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Maryland (1991). Gibson currently divides his time between New York and France.
