They were originally thought to be lithographs from or relating to the ÒGefallenÓ series. It was not until they were examined out of their frames by Nina Rayer of Nina Rayer Fine Art of Portland, a paper expert and the consultant to the Galleries for works on paper, that they were found to be original charcoal drawings.
