BACKSIDE: Many email request to view this works back. See below, there is reminent of a french newspaper from 1916 varnished long ago. We recently had removed some of the varnish coating safely without distracting the original board or painting itself. The old varnish now is dull by our coating removal. ADDITIONAL COMENTARY: Several email concerns are set with the exact dating of this painting. Everything suggest that this is indeeed from the 1920's era. Another important reason being is that this work, was never signed. Most all forgeries in russian art were signed with famous established names in the form of initials and/or mongrams. Since this is not signed, and the medium is naturalized in aging, not simulated age, I have no suspicsions whatsoever. I have carefully reviewed this work over the years and find no signs of being of anything other then from the 1920's. If I could have established a certain artist based on style and form, then naturally this work would have reached into several thousand dollars. YEAR: Dated 1920's  WORK SIZE: 6".0 (W) x  8.75."
