I have had it for years and have used and re-used it for everything and it just keeps doing its job well and proper! It is the natural wood color and a large size, all handmade and from the 1930s, we believe. It is 13 1/2" in diameter and  over 14" to the top of the handle. the actual basket is 9" tall. It is so very very sturdy and strong, with no breaks. The natural wood has discolored a bit but beautiful.
