Done in Pastels a young male child is seated on a rattan chair in a rich blue suit from the early period.  His left arm is raised holding onto the back of the rattan chair and his other hand is resting in his lap.  The background is done in a soft blue with stylized motif to accent this portrait.  Very nice quality of artisanship as can be seen.  Artwork was done on a heavy paper artist's board.  No signature on front but back shows a hand inscription of numbers, probably from the merchant who sold the artist's board. I acquired this at an estate sale and do not know the origin of this artwork. This piece is NOT under glass NOR is it framed.....you are buying the Art Work only........which will keep the cost of shipping down.
