The arms are missing unfortunately, but furthermore, this piece is in beautiful condition for its age.  The entire polychromy is original and untouched. The sculpture is possibly a depiction of the famous "Noli mi Tangere".   Marie Magdalen discovered Christ before his open tomb.  When she wanted to speak to Christ, he replied to her with "Noli mi Tangere" (don't touch me). A beautiful, high quality period carving !!
