It was in a 5 story house in Prague 5 (zizkov).  It is of Sarah Bernhardt by Alfons Mucha.  The technique is a 3 STEP ACID ETCHING 1907-1910.  The original frame (white) is under the new box frame which is Hondoras mahogony.  The box is lighted with 2 lights, one on top and one on the bottom, and looks AMAZING when lit.  I have had it looked at by 2 experts, one at Sotherbys in Manhattan, NY and by Gustave Joches, a glass expert also in Manhattan, NY.  The original work is between 1907-1910.  I will start the bidding at $39,000 usd.  It was by Gustave Joches and Sotherbys to be valued at $60,000 - $70,000 usd.
