Ace Powell's SQUAW AND RED RIVER CART.  This is an absolutely wonderful piece of work that is signed in the lower left and numbered in the lower right.  This etching is 84 of 100 and measures 4 7/8 x 6 6/8 and already matted and framed.  With that the size increases to 8 x 10.   The picture doesn't do justice to this beautiful piece of american art. Ace Powell (1912 - 1978) was a fine Western artist who shared the old and transitional scenes of his beloved Montana and her Native people.  His subjects were primarily Native Americans of the Blood, Piegan, Cree and Blackfeet tribes. Titles and measurements for all Ace Powell and Nancy McLaughlin etchings comes from the catalog.  PLEASE NOTE:  All prices on the Ace Powell etchings and catalogs are true prices.  I researched until I found a dealer/acquaintance who knew the Powells and was very knowledgeable about how much these etchings and catalogs are going for.  These prices have not been inflated, but are the actual prices from this dealer.
