Description
A very reluctant sale is my Adam Neate 'Triptych with Chair' which was purchased at Elms Lesters Painting Rooms at the preview of his sell out 'Paintings, Pots and Prints' exhibition. ‘There are only about 25 serious street artists who you would say are real players worldwide,’ says Paul Jones from Elms Lester Gallery, one of the first dealers to spot street art’s potential 25 years ago, ‘and about five or six of those are British.’ And while he believes there’s still room for prices to rise over the next three to five years, Jones is adamant that it’s too late for newcomer artists. ‘Artists like Banksy, Adam Neate, Space Invader and José Parlá are well established now – they’re the originals. The next generation will have to do their own thing to be noticed.’   It has been said that Adam Neate will not be releasing any more prints so given that this print was released in a run of just 50 this might be one of the last chances to pick one of these up at what might considered ‘fair value’. The print was purchased, by me, at last year’s ‘Paintings, Pots and Prints’ exhibition which was a very nearly a preview night sell out – the original of this work went for £100K+ (and that was then...). I am the original owner of this print and have the original receipt made out in my name. There can be no doubt as to the authenticity of the work.   Since purchase the print has been stored flat, between acid free gallery mount card, between hard board and has only seen the light of day to have the pictures taken – condition, as new.   Viewing is welcome in Brentwood, Essex to the seriously interested.   Payment via cash on collection, bank transfer (chaps) or fully negotiated cheque. Paypal is an option but my least preferred due to fees.
