THE FOUR SEASONS this is the only authorized print publication of Wyeth's work and the number of folios published is unknown. Andrew Wyeth (b. 1912) is an American realist painter, also known as regional art. He is often referred to as the "Painter of the People" due to his popularity with the American public. Wyeth's favorite subject is the land and inhabitants Pennsylvania and those near his summer home in Maine. The bound cloth hardcover folio measures 13.75" x 17.25" and the prints measure 13.25" x 17". Each of the prints are in great condition, no damage and only very slight signs of age discoloration around the edges. These prints will look greta framed and displayed. The folio is in fair condition, there are small stains on the exterior. It should be noted: this set originally contained a preface by Lloyd Goodrich, Director of the Whitney Museum of American Art, which is no longer contained in the folio.
