Description Hi there, well I have been buying on Ebay for several years and it is time to "thin out" the collection, thus I am becoming an Ebay "seller" about time!  I will be listing many choice items over the next couple of months so please be sure to check in with me! For your consideration is a wonderful small Ash burl bowl from the early 1800's. The bowl measures approx 6 7/8" across and 3 1/4" high.  The patina is wonderful.  There is wear and age consistent with the age and use of the bowl. I have other burl in my collection and I do believe that this is Ash burl, if you have different info do let me know. I do believe this is American Indian consistent with other known examples.  I purchased the bowl in the early 90's from a well know NW dealer of Americana and she purchased it in New England in the 80's.
