THREE PHOTOGRAPHS OF HAGOP AYVAZ! Hagop Ayvaz (1911-2006), the prominent Turkish-Armenian actor, critique and journalist, established the "Kulis" (Backstage) magazine in 1946 and worked there for fifty years continuously. He was awarded by "The Turkish Writers' Union" in 1997. He died in 2006, when still writing for the Armenian daily "Agos", established in 1996. Three photographs, all in good condition, show Hagop Ayvaz in three stages of his life; 1. Original black and white photograph (15.2 x 22.3 cm) showing Hagop Ayvaz in military uniform after returning to his room in the cinema in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey, where he served his military duties (dated 1935 at the back), 2. Original black and white photograph (12 x 17.5 cm.) showing Hagop Ayvaz in his office, possibly removed from a newspaper archive, 3.
