Painted landscapes, portraits, illustrations, and genre scenes in oil and watercolors. HE Studied with Otto Grundman (1844-1890) at Boston Museum of Fine Arts School. Turner was a member of the Unity Art Club and the Boston Art Club where he became president. He exhibited at the Boston Art Club at various times from 1881 until 1907. In 1887 he exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and gave his address as 12 West Street, Boston, MA. His last known address was 68 Mt. Vernon Street, Boston, Massachusetts.
