Description
Ganne Leah Gallery of Fine Art and Antiques     Welcome to Ganne Leahs Fine Art& Antiques We sell Antique, Vintage, and Contemporary Art as well as selling smaller antiques       LATE 1800'S TO 1900'S EARLY AMERICANA FOLK ART LARGE GREEN GLASS JAR~JUG ~ONE OF A KIND PIECE! ANTIQUE YARN PAINTING OF HOMES, CHURCH, LANDSCAPE OF TREES, LITTLE BOY FISHING AND BIRDS~EXTREMELY DETAILED AND COLORFUL! Up for auction is a very RARE find in Glass Jugs and Jars/Crock~A MUST PIECE FOR COLLECTORS! of crocks, jugs, pottery, glass and Folk Art. This is a one of a kind piece of Early Americana Folk Art that you will not want to miss out on! It is almost like viewing an Original Painting being made of Yarn/String/Roping.  To me, as an artist, it appears to me to have been individually handpainted or possibly handdipped in colors making a Beautiful Homespun Masterpiece.  The colors have ripened to rich golden shade from years of aging adding a splendid patina to this fine piece.  This is a Enchanting Country Landscape has several areas of interests including a few Old~Fashioned Homes, an Adorable Church with a Cross on it's steeple, a little boy with a yellow hat and black boots/shoes fishing into an aqua blue pond/lake with small birds flying over to greet him.  There are also several trees and bushes/foliage in many shades of greens and pumpkins/red-orange.  This had to take many hours/days to complete this Original Handmade Piece with such loving detail.  It is in very good condition for its age with only minor loss as can be seen in several of the closeup photos that I have listed for your inspection.  It measures a very nice size at 10 1/2 inches tall by 6 inches in width.  The glass jar is a very light green in color with an extra large bubble on the bottom.  PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT I WILL BE ON VACATION FROM MAY 31 (THURS.) UNTIL JUNE 10 (SUN.) AND WILL BE ABLE TO SHIP THIS PIECE OUT ON JUNE 11 OR 12.  I do believe that the buyer will be exceptionally happy with this wonderful unusual jar that will add that special charm to any home :).      Vintage items may exhibit signs of normal use as would be expected of such items of this nature due to the natural aging process.  I do my Best to describe all items I sell INCLUDING any blemishes I see or deem to be a blemish but keep in mind, because I am not an expert in all fields, I may overlook something YOU might consider a flaw, therefore I am selling AS IS with NO RETURNS ~ so please ask questions PRIOR to auction end so that you can Bid with Confidence.          If you have any questions or need more pictures, please feel free to ask. Go to "View Seller's Other Items" at the top of this page. Please keep in mind that colors may vary with different types of monitors especially on paintings.  Keep an eye on my auctions and you may find something that you collect or would like to decorate your home or office.  I usually sell many antique oil/ pastel/ watercolor paintings and vintage items dating 1700's, 1800's and early 1900's (18th , 19th and 20th C. Century).  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me and I will be glad to answer you.  I normally like to list antique~vintage animal paintings of sheep, cow/cows, horse/horses, pig/pigs, ducks/duck, bird/birds, bear/bears, deer and several types of dog/cat paintings of many breeds.  I also usually sell vintage landscape/landscapes,Stilllife, Pastel, Watercolor, French Barbizon, Nude/Nudes,  Impressionist/Impressionistic Paintings,  Fine Early American Primitive Folk Art, Lovely florals of roses/rose/pansies/pansy and Art Nouveau pieces. etc.   Shipping:   ALL SALES FINAL.  Please bid accordingly.  Please ask for shipping quote to your area since it is determined by zipcode.  I sell to the USA only, please NO OVERSEA BIDDERS due to cost of shipping and damage claims.
