Really a nice piece, it is also quite large at around 3' x 4'. Excellent retro colors. Painting was done by an artist named Tifler, I believe a painter that worked and lived in New Jersey in the fifties and sixties. While undated I am sure that the piece is from no later than 1969. This piece has been in my family for years and was originally purchased in a gallery in Columbus, Ohio in 1969. It has been displayed in my home for the last 7 years. Perfect for Knoll, Saarinen, Eames and Panton inspired decor. The condition is great with oil on canvas. The canvas itself is very stable with no signs of water damage or repair. The original edge-less Aluminum frame is perfect for this piece and is in decent shape. The opening asking price on this piece is quite reasonable considering what other similar works of this era having been selling for.
