Description
This is your chance to own this fantastic and highly desirable Banksy print. This is one of his most iconic prints, Police Kids or Jack and Jill was released in January 2006, it is signed by the man himself, numbered and has the PoW blindstamp. I bought this direct from Pow so am the original owner and it is registered to me on their database, I also have an email from Dora at PoW confirming i am the original owner of the print that i can forward to the buyer. It has been framed and on my wall out of direct sunlight since the day it arrived, much loved, however sadly needs must and it has to go to another good home. It is in absolutely perfect condition and has cast iron provenence. Banksy's profile has been constantly rising over the last few years. His work has now become much sought after and very collectable. His most recent show - Barely Legal, in LA, sold out on the first night - including some Hollywood A-list buyers - and total sales were greater than $3m! I believe that the final (4th) day of the show saw 50,000 people visit the show - some achievement for a gallery showing! Banksy's star continues to rise. In the last year one of his originals sold for £288,000 at Bonhams, along with another image reaching £198,000! Meanwhile its increasingly difficult to pick up a signed print for less than £4000! So this is your chance to own a Banksy before they all find permanent homes... or become unaffordable. Payment is by Bank transfer, cheque or cash on pick up. I live just outside Sheffield and am willing to drive about an hour in any direction to meet you if you'd like to fetch it in person. Or can be posted in a cardboard tube, however it must be insured to full value.
