Description
Original Watercolor Painting by Bev Doolittle - "The Sentinel" This is the original watercolor painting that the "The Sentinel" limited edition lithograph was reproduced from. Of course there is only one original and this is it. Bev spends up to 6 months on one major painting, when she paints an original watercolor that has this much detail. There are many drawings and much research that goes into each unique painting. Currently Bev has not painted a large watercolor since 1999, when she painted "The Earth is my Mother". She recently painted her latest release "Beyond Negotiations" in acrylic, and it is uncertain when she will do another large watercolor painting. The image size of "The Sentinel" original watercolor is 14 1/2" x 17 3/4", and the overall framed size is 24" x 27 1/4". As you can see here it is framed beautifully with suede matting and a unique custom frame. B&R Gallery has sold many of Bev's original paintings, and we have collectors worldwide. We have the largest collection of Bev Doolittle originals in the world. As far as I know, "The Forest Has Eyes" is still somewhere in Germany, where we shipped it in 1996. We had sold it for $180,000.00 and another art dealer we work with made an offer in 1998 of $450,000.00 for it, which the collector in Germany turned down. You can also see a unique collection of Bev Doolittle originals and limited editons by going to our ebay store or by clicking on this link - http://stores.ebay.com/br-art52. You can also go to the B&R Gallery web site at www.bnr-art.com and see Bev Doolittle's home page and the originals that have sold in the past. We will build a wooden crate and ship this original painting Federal Express overnight air fully insured. Bid with confidence as your purchase is guaranteed to your full satisfaction. Bev's art transcends time, and I believe as the years go by we will see some of her major paintings in museums for posterity to enjoy! If you have any questions you can reach us at 800 255-6498 or 661 298-2038
