About the Artist: I am a self-taught, full-time woman artist from Niger.  I am a Tuareg, a nomad from Africa, I am also naturalizd American citizen.  I like to tell stories through my paintings. Since I was young I have liked to draw, but since I grew up in the desert of Africa I didn't have pencils.  So, I would draw in the sand.  I couldn't wait for the rains to come, and I would spend hours making statues from the mud and clay.  Now, as a stay at home mom, I love to paint all kinds of subjects, on all kinds of materials, and I love painting.  I started painting when I met my mother-in-law who was an artist.  She gave me a watercolor package and I've been painting ever since. My work has been sold around the world and I'm proud of the response I have received.  Don’t forget to check out my artwork.
