SIGNED The drawing is called "Venus Beating Cupid With A Bunch Of Flowers" This drawing was in London Sotheby's Auction OLD MASTER DRAWINGS in July 5 2006 . From Sotheby's  catalog: "numbered in brown ink,lower right:3 bears old attribution.lower right: CARRACHE point of the brush and brown wash. 143 by 117mm. Estimate:GBP4,000 - 6,000 ; EURO 5,900-8,900 ; $7,600 - 11,300" Thin gold leaf frame around ,about 2 cm missing. Please see photos.  How it came here? The drawing  was given to the famous actress Louise DuMont - Lindemann (1862-1932),who founded DŸsseldorf theatre and museum of performing arts. It was a gift from an admirer at the 1900's Ms. Dumont past it on  to her husband's nephew in the 20's , and he came to live in Israel , then Palestine , settled in a Kibbutz , and now his family , my friends , wish to sell the drawing.
