The story surrounding this item goes as follows.... Her husband, now dead, was a carpenter and did some work on Conrad Schwiering's home. Conrad did not have the money to pay him so he was given this painting as payment. It has hung on the wall of the family home ever since. Because it went from Conrad's hands straight to this family there have been NO prints or reproductions made. There are a few art galleries interested in this item by my mother-in-law wanted to try Ebay first. Frame is included in the purchase. The frame is not the original.  I think when Harry got the painting it wasn't framed as he made frames for it. It is on masonite board and is in excellant condition.  It has never been touched up or anything.  We always kept it wrapped in blankets when we moved so that nothing would happen to it. The dimensions are 20 X 24. I also have other pictures that are embedded in an email that I can forward to you if you'd like to see them -- I was unable to save or copy them from the email.
