Tempera on panel, gilded nimbus. Signed on right bottom Jean Dunand. Origin: private collection of Madame Agnes, famous french milliner, this panel has been offered by Jean Dunand to the son of Agnes for his first communion. Circa 1930. Original lacquer frame by Jean Dunand. Good condition except one small missing of painting and small crack above the head of the Virgin near the frame caused by the test to put a hook on back of the panel, see photographs.
