 Edgar Tolson carving from the early 1970's recreating Adam & Eve.Edgar became a well known carver after the war and sold his carving to make a living in rural appalacian mountains.Is work is well known through the folk art community.This is a carving of Adam and Eve with the fruit tree and snake all hand carved on popular wood and hand painted by Edgar Tolson.Measures approximately 12" tall 8"wide 14"long.This carving also has signed documentation from artist son for authenticity .This piece has been family owned for more than 25 years so take this unique opportunity to own a rare piece of folk art.Edgar's work has been displayed in the Smithsonian in Washington D.C .Each piece is different on it's own and no two are alike.This auction is for serious bidders only any bids is a binding contract to buy said item.Because of such a fragile and rare piece local pickup is recommended but can ship just contact me to arrange the best shipping or pickup before bidding ends.Any questions please do not hesitate to ask.Thanks ,Charlie
