Description
You are bidding on an old-looking Eskimo Curlew shorebird that was made from an old Massachusetts style hunting decoy. This replica was carved/painted/signed by Ken Kirby who has over 23 years of carving experience and has won many ribbons at carving competitions for his ducks and shorebirds. It is fashioned from kiln-dried white cedar with black glass eyes. It has a hardwood bill and is painted with much paint flaking, rubs and a texture that makes the decoy look and feel like an old used shorebird. All of this carver's birds are heat stamped with his name "Ken Kirby" on the bottom and then signed and dated 2007. Measurements: 12" bill to tail, 13" high, 3" wideShipping costs: $12.00 with insured guaranteed delivery
