This picture is unique and it is impossible to make its copy. Several techniques were used in the creation of this painting, including the artist’s personal, who much admires the artworks of Gustav Klimt and Alphonse Mucha and has tried to use some decorative effects inherent in the Art Nouveau style. Original 24" x 36" oil on stretched canvas, hand signed and dated. Will look beautiful in a frame of your choice or ready to be displayed just the way it is as the edges are painted. We are proud to offer you this remarkable painting by Nelya Shenklyarska, a Russian born artist, whose exceptional artwork reflects her endless imagination and a constant search for magic and beauty whether she paints objects, people or nature. Her paintings look as if they were created with watercolors, but they are painted in oils, sometimes simple and peaceful, sometimes passionate and stimulating, but always filled with romanticism and with the most positive energy. Back in Russia, Nelya was awarded a Master's Degree at the Lvov Academy of Arts. Her classical background dictated the use of more subtle colors such as browns and light yellows, but after she moved to the Republic of Georgia during the Perestroika time and where she lived for 8 years, she was greatly influenced by the local art which primarily used bright and passionate red and orange colors. Her paintings now had a new dimension and expression. She is amazing with portraits and painting the human body as well giving credit for this to the Clothing Designer School which she attended for 6 years painting models, models and more models. She moved to the US in 2005 and loves her new home, embracing opportunities to discover more inspiration for her work. Her artworks are in private collections and galleries in the US, Great Britain, Germany, Japan, Canada, Australia, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Poland, Russia, Georgia and Ukraine.
