FELICE GIORDANO (1880-1964) Born in Naples in 1880, Felice Giordano is primarily known for his Italian coastal landscapes. These paintings give us a bit of both worlds. A lovely city scape, and a beautiful seaside tableau. Although we currently are not able to provide the titles for both paintings, we do know that they came from the estate of a professional opera singer. The paintings are large, (the city street scene measures 31.3 in. X 26 3/8th in., and the seaside painting measures 27 in. X 35 in.) each is in it's original frame, and both are in excellent condition. I would like to offer that the frames appear to be from the period these were painted (estimated 1910-1930). INTERESTING TIDBIT; THESE PAINTING WERE OWNED AT ONE TIME BY A FEMALE OPERA SINGER, PAULINE LAW. PAULINE BELONGED TO SEVERAL COMPANIES DURING HERE CAREER, HERE IN THE STATES AS WELL AS IN EUROPE.
