Payment | Checkout | Shipping | Lennon Hall Antiques Guarantee Fantastic Colorful FOLK ART Sheet Metal PIG 32" Long Click to View Image Album  Click to View Image Album  Click to View Image Album  Click to View Image Album  Click to View Image Album  Fantastic Colorful FOLK ART Sheet Metal PIG 32" Long ITEM This is wonderful folk art piece.  It is a brightly colored three dimensional pig, made of sheet metal that's been soldered together.  One side is blue and white while the other side of yellow.  The bridge of the nose is green, the eyes are made of washers, the belly is green.  Each side has what appears to be wings soldered onto it (whey pigs fly?).  It is actually made of an old sign; we think it was a Mexican sign (off in the corner is very small writing with a Mexican address).   This spectacular sheet metal pig would make a wonderful addition to any folk art collection.  It would look terrific indoors or out.    Dimensions It measures 32" Long X 8" thick X 22" High Condition Good original condition. No rust.  No paint loss (other than what was probably already lost on the sign before it was made into this pig).   Provenance This wonderful item is fresh from a huge on-site estate auction -- they just kept pulling more and more treasures from this magnificent home. HOW will my item be shipped and HOW LONG will it take to get to me?  Once you pay for your item (or your check clears), it will be packed for shipping.  The method of shipping depends on the size of your purchase.   Small items are sent via USPS Priority Mail within a day or two of your payment and should arrive in a few days.  Medium size pieces (small pieces of furniture, etc.) are shipped by UPS; these items are generally custom boxed so they take a day or so longer to be shipped and typically arrive within a few days to a week. Large pieces of furniture are custom crated and shipped by our trucker, Arrow Express, using their door-to-door "white glove" service. Once the trucker picks up your item from us, it normally takes two to three weeks to arrive.  However, many things can impact the time of a truck shipment so it can take as long as eight weeks, depending on your location.   Can you ship my item any cheaper?  We are working very hard to keep shipping costs down but both USPS and UPS have raised their rates and the price of gas has skyrocketed, so truckers are all charging surcharges.  We do not use Greyhound or any of the cut-rate shippers.  We always combine shipping to discount multiple item purchases.   What about LOCAL (NY tri-state area) shipments?  We always welcome pick ups and never charge for this service.  Also, we have a local delivery service that can deliver up to five items for the same price, anywhere within the NY tri-state area.  If you are local, please ask for a price quote for this very affordable service. INSURANCE and DAMAGE HANDLING Will my item's shipment be insured?  We always include insurance in your shipping price.  Antiques and vintage items are vulnerable to any aggressive handling so it's important they always be insured when shipping.   What if my item arrives damaged?   We value our products and are as upset as you are if anything gets damaged!  In the unlikely event that your item does get damaged in shipment, it is always fully insured and we will work with you every step of the way to recover this insurance. Please let us know immediately if an item is damaged in shipment and please make sure to retain all your packing material.  INTERNATIONAL TRANSACTIONS I'm not in the U.S., how will my transaction be handled?   We ship worldwide but we can only accept payment in U.S. Dollars.
