This painting is signed "Francois" and "Paris" on the upper left and right corners. The glass of the frame is blurry in some places, likely the result of sitting in storage. The matte board holding the painting in the frame has a few water spots, but they don't appear to have damaged the actual art in any way. This painting has a wire on the back and is ready to be hung. While I am not an expert on art, this does appear to be an original work to me. The paintstrokes are very bold and pronounced. The integration of printed newspaper into the work gives this a "mixed media" feel that I happen to find rather unique. This painting with frame measures about 24" wide by 28" tall.
