It is windy and the sea is choppy and the breaking waves at the shore is very much refreshing.  The fast moving clouds over the horizon are painted with very good stroke and beautiful.  In this painting we see the masterly brush stroke a genius who later date bestowed a title "Official Marine Painter" for France.
