While "The Struggles Within Family" portrays traumatic events involved with family based on the artist's personal experiences, "Household Calescence" describes the warmth of family that grows after such ordeals, such as love and closeness, by reflecting them through a gentle orange color across a skyline.   Garo Franzino is an aspiring modern artist from the Pittsburgh area whose work is greatly recognized in his hometown of Greensburg, PA. Before Garo's transformation into the conceptual, his work in his young career emphasized mainly on strong realistic technique and family, whereas he later began studying other forms such as surrealism, expressionism, and abstract. However, his breakthrough series entitled "Painting by Numbers" redefines the term by envisioning the disorder of Grapheme-color Synesthesia through painting. Synesthesia, the disarrangement of the sense's electrical impulses decoded by the brain causing one sensory stimulation to automatically lead to another, was used as a source of inspiration by famous artists such as Kandinsky and Mondrian.
