I hope you enjoy it as much as one little girl and her mother did. I added the ‘wish’ in the bottom right corner for the new kids, grandkids and great-grandkids of the 21st century. It is available with/without the script,                                                                             THE GENESIS OF THE GENIE LAMP  A friend approached me and asked if I would make a poster for her young daughter.  She was re-doing her daughter’s room and she said that her daughter was attached to what she called her Genie Lamp.  The woman wanted me to photograph, enhance, and blow it up to poster size.  I said I would look at what she had and let her know what I could do. A few weeks went by without her bringing the lamp and I figured it was a forgotten whim, until the day she brought me the ‘thing’ – a squat. off-white porcelain gravy bowl type of vessel. Apparently her daughter had a good imagination.  Anyway, I played with different ways of turning the ‘thing’ into something that could be hung on the wall without invoking laughter. After many hours, approaches and attempts the ‘thing’ became ‘The Genie Lamp’. Mother and daughter are very happy with their poster.  PS: The bowl really is attractive in its own right, I was just kidding; however, it was not very photogenic, or should I say photogenie.Dimensions - Mat w/Backing  - 11 x 14                          - Picture               - 8  x 10                       - (available in larger sizes on our store)My watermark does not appear on purchased prints.This photo is printed on a professional photo printer.
