He is best known for his mosaics and use of gold paint, details, abstract space, symbolism and the female figure.  His primery subjects are the female body and viewed by many as erotic.  Agat pendant, hand painted on the motives of Klimt's 'Expectation, Stoclet Frieze' is represented in this listing. The painting is made in Fedoskino, one of four Russian lacquer painting centers. The artist used very fine brushes made of squirrel hair to paint the fine details with a paint made of egg-based tempera.
