umakafka Store Harold Calvin Kimball Large Abstract Painting A large abstract painting by Harold Calvin Kimball, about 36" x 36". Signed and dated 1970. In excellent condition with no rips or tears to the canvas. Framed, the frame has some slight condition issues, framed area about 37-1/2' x 37-1/2". This object will ship via Greyhound for $55.00 which will require your pick up at your nearest local Greyhound. This item is available for pick up in the Chicago area. This item is too big to ship via USPS internationally. International shipping will be via UPS Express or other service. An email with your intent to follow through will suffice; if it's the last day of auction we may not be able to get back with you but as long as you've sent the email, please bid with confidence. We accept Paypal or Money Orders only. No personal checks, please. We ask you to contact us within 3 days of winning no matter how you intend to pay just so we know you're really out there and really do want the item. We urge you to make payment within 10 days of purchase or notify us for other arrangements. When we charge a handling fee for over $3.50, we'll have it in the item's description. We try to buy and use recycled shipping and packaging materials; this helps keep your costs down and helps the environment, too. But if you prefer new, let us know in advance, and yes, we'll have to pass the higher costs of new packaging materials on to you. Many fine items will be professionally packaged for a cost of $6.00 and up, this will be noted in the sales description and while this option does cost a bit more, it assures both the safety and claims process of your purchase. We combine shipping for multiple purchases as possible to help you economize on shipping costs. We ship through USPS, UPS, Fed Ex and Greyhound. Greyhound is often preferable for large items, items receive less handling and have a better chance of arriving safely. Greyhound requires pick up by buyer at his/her nearest station, and we'll OK this with buyer before using Greyhound and mention it in the item's description if we plan to use Greyhound. Please pick up your item from Greyhound within 3 days of their notice to you or you may be charged storage fees. Please include your telephone number with your address, shipping carriers other than USPS require it. We normally ship within 2 to 3 days of receiving cleared payment. We no longer ship same day of Paypal payments to give Paypal time to correct mistakes. Automated shipping rates can be off. Please notify us if the rates appear too high. Buyer has the obligation to pay all shipping costs even if the automated quoted rate is low. If actual shipping costs are significantly less than the quote, the buyer will get a shipping refund. If actual shipping costs are a little more, we'll pay, if they are significantly more, we'll require further shipping monies from buyer. You'll receive an email that your item is shipping. If you do not receive messages from us, please check your computer's security and spam settings. If you have not received your item within 10 days of paying (international 15 days), please contact us. For USPS shipments, check with your post office to see if they're holding your package. International shipments on items over $100 must ship via USPS Global Express, UPS or FedEx for their tracking capabilities. Yes, you are insured no matter what! Insurance is now required due to eBay and Paypal's buyer protection policies, which put safe arrival of your package on us, the seller, not the shipping company. We purchase insurance sometimes from the carrier,sometimes from Auctiva and sometimes from an outside service as full or supplemental insurance on your package. If your item has shipped USPS, your insurance is very likely purchased from an outside source, as we've found USPS claims process as slow, unreliable and often non responsive. But yes, you are 100% insured against loss or damage through the mails whether your shipping box is officially marked or not and your claim will include all of your postage costs. Should your item arrive damaged, hold onto all packaging until receiving further instructions on the claims process. For items costing less than $20, we may be able to waive the insurance requirement if you are willing to waive your eBay and Paypal protection policies and take the risk for loss/damage through the mails. If you need to make a claim, contact us right away and be sure to hold onto all packaging for the claim report. We'll walk you through and handle the claims process and get your claim monies to you as soon as we receive a damage report from the shipping company, that they have received the item back to investigate the damage. Generally, you need to take the damaged item and packaging to USPS and Greyhound for their inspection while UPS and FED EX will pick up the item and packaging from you. If the shipping company or our insurer balks at paying us, we will still pay you while continuing our fight for the claim. All you have to do is make sure that the damaged item found its way to the shipping company for inspection. Then, go and treat yourself some way; we know you're disappointed about your item, we are too. We promise that the insurance claim process will be as painless for you as possible even when we have to battle on. Please note that if you want your item repaired, this can complicate and delay your claim a bit, but you're still 100% guaranteed to get it. If you can stay calm and patient even if you really want to pull out our fingernails, we can better expedite things for you.Eligible buyers have a positive feedback rating of at least 10.
