There is a signature on the lower left hand corner. This painting depicts a young woman holding flowers in her hands and observing the chicken.  This painting is nicely framed in an old, hand carved original to the painting ornamented frame. The size of the painting is 12 ½ by 15 ½ inches. The size of the frame is 23 5/16 by 26 ¼ inches.
