About the Artist: An artist by "happenstance" and the brush keeps going. A native of California and relocated to the South during the sixties. Three years ago, after losing her 30 year career with a large Corporation, and her husband diagnosed with a rare Lymphoma, Ms. Adams began to paint to relieve the stress brought on by the uncertainties surrounding her family. Enamored with the early Impressionists she considers herself a "Contemporary-Abstract Impressionist". Painting primarily in vibrant oils and acrylics on canvas, wood block and even satin (one- of- a- kind art pillows).   Her paintings exhibit women celebrating life and sometimes the emotions brought on by the day to day world we live in. She enjoys painting whimsical Parisian women and French locales (could it be her French descent?). After a year out of the workforce and paintings stacking up all over the house, she decided to sell her art on Ebay. "I find selling on Ebay an exciting way to make contact with people all over the world". "I also find it rewarding to sell reasonably priced art to customers who might not be able to afford the higher prices in galleries" . She is a member of the Fine Art Registry, an online art registry which ensures authenticity and provenance of her art. She was the featured artist in December 2006 with the Fine Art Registry. In 2006, her art was noticed (on Ebay) by a publishing company and one of her paintings was selected to be a book cover which which came out in September 2006. The painting is titled Springtime and the book is titled SWAG- Southern Women Aging Gracefully by Melinda Rainey Thompson. Also, another painting was chosen for the sequel The SWAG Life.  The painting is titled La Dee Dah. "I am inspired by everyday beauty, inside and out.
