Description
Koichiro Kurita - "In a Meadow" PLATINUM PrintRare! Only 10 made! This is an original Koichiro Kurita print, number 6 of an edition limited to no more than 10, signed and numbered by the artist on the print. It measures 16 x 20" (24 x 30" matted). Photograph printed in platinum metals on hand-made Gampi paper, a rare Japanese rice paper tissue-vellum. Original sales receipt is included. Frame is pulled away from the print on the top, but is in otherwise excellent condition!ARTIST'S STATEMENT:The world of Nature embraces atmosphere, terrasphere and hydrosphere (Air, Ground and Water). Each surface has a connecting border in a mysterious way. And those expanses, all the things and phenomena including living things like us exist in time as independent entities. Although each entity is independent, they never exist alone. They share the border with other entities and with other spheres. To recognize the independence of each and all entities means that none are stronger nor more beautiful than others. None are subservient and none are above others. None come before others and none are subjected to comparison. The connection is not inconflict but rather in a state of order and harmony. Each connection contributes to a harmony of Nature as a whole. My work is the epression of the connection between myself and Nature and also a record of the connection of those things photographed. _gsrx_vers_235 (GS 5.0.2 (235))
