DUE TO INCREASING COSTS OF BRASS, THE MANUFACTURER HAS DECIDED TO QUIT MAKING THEM. This elegant kaleidoscope is made with brass ends and stand which is mounted to a wooden base with a walnut finish. The kaleidoscope tube is also finished in walnut with the object wheel mounted on the base. The wheel is made of stained glass with a red jewel and 2 shiny gold accents attached to the surface of the glass, one of which has an opal-like jewel embedded in it. There is a music box that is key wound. It turns the object wheel while it plays the tune "Everything is Beautiful". It is most important to understand that the viewer should not turn this wheel, only wind the key for the music box to play and turn it. Very unique! It is new and unused and comes in a box suitable for gift giving.MEASUREMENTS: The overall measurements are: base = 6.5" wide x 9" deep and 11" tall. The scope tube measures 1 1/2" in diameter and 6 1/2" in length. The wheel is 4 1/2" in diameter. The interior pictures were taken from actually viewing in the scope with a special camera.
