The back ground trees silliuete against the evening sky.    About the Artist: Christine Kingsbury grew up in a rural community just outside of Prince George, British Columbia. As a young girl she had a love of horses and spent many hours drawing and painting them. She started her family early and soon after her first daughter was born she discovered she had a talent of creating unusual characters. Drawing and painting she realized that some of creatures fit nicely into the stories that she enjoyed crafting for her children. She always had a love of nature and one of things that she enjoyed doing with her family was camping. A family favorite was to listen to the latest scary tale while huddled in the light of the camp fire. Then in 2005 while working on a back drop for a story that would be told on the next camping trip she discovered she had a talent for landscapes. Through trial, error and lots of practice she has mastered a style that gives her paintings texture and depth that is not only appealing but very pleasing to the eye. Place a Bid!
