The owner also  had a Custom made frame made,some chipping of the gilt. The painting was brought to Sothebys and they wanted to  put it a Auction 2 years ago ,but I decided to wait. The painting is in good condition except for two small  blemishes in the lower front (it came back from Sothebys that way)there is still a sticker from Sothebys with the discription 18th Century painting of the Duke of  Orlean , the painting is unsigned ,  the buyer has the option of purchasing a letter from the head of a Major University's Art department for authentication will send aditional photos if requested Place a Bid!
