Large Lot of 12 Abstract Art Painting on Canvas Several LARGE Paintings - Very Unusual - Take a Peek Start Price USD 4,700.00 Current Price USD 4,700.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Sunday, July 06, 2008 End Time Sunday, July 13, 2008 Location Gates, North Carolina See more about 'Large Lot of 12 Abstract Art Painting on Canvas' Description   Pick-N-Up-The-Pieces Welcomes you to our Auction!!  For your consideration we have a large lot of abstract art work.  There are 12 paintings on canvas in varies sizes.  Because there are several very large paintings, this auction is listed as a pick up only.  If you would like to have these shipped by freight, you will need to make those arrangements.  This is an "as is" auction.  Please ask questions before bidding.  I have tried very hard to mention any imperfections that I found.   Paintings included in this auction are: 1.      This is probably one of the most interesting pieces of Art that I have ever seen.  This very large 43x43 framed painting on canvas depicts an African American woman holding a newspaper that is on fire, between her legs.  In the background you can see clothes hanging on a line, 2 buildings, palm trees, the moon and the sky.  Actual newspaper was used and painting to blend into the picture.  So interesting!  I am sure this piece of art work would a huge conversation piece.  Minor imperfections.  2.      This is a very interesting painting of an African American Gentleman with head bowed and face painted.  Very colorful painting on canvas.  Measures approx. 48x24.  There are some minor imperfections found on this painting and a few paint chips.  3.      Painting on canvas, measures approx. 41x42 and depicts a nude couple in an intimate position.  Other items painted in the back drop are a child, hand prints, joke face, sun, moon, mask and dove.  Some imperfections.  Appears that some misc. paint was slashed and a few spots appear on this painting.  Overall, still an incredible painting.      4.      Abstract Painting on canvas.  This painting measures approx. 36x24 and mounted on a wood frame.  Beautiful Colors, minor imperfections. 5.      Nice looking, colorful abstract art work, painting on canvas. Cat/Bird.  Measures approx 36x24.  Minor imperfections. 6.      Large abstract painting on canvas.  Painting is attached to a wood frame.  Measures approx. 60x26.  There is a small tear in this painting (see second photo) also has some other minor imperfections.  7.      Large framed African American Painting of 2 women on Canvas.  Measures approx. 50x21.  Minor imperfections. 8.      Large abstract painting of warrior with shield on canvas.  This painting is framed and measures approx. 33x41.  Minor imperfections. 9.      Small face painting on canvas.  This abstract art is attached to a by staples to a square wood frame.  Measures approx. 11x9 inches.  Minor imperfections. 10.  Interesting piece of abstract art (dog).  The painting on canvas measures approx. 20x28.  Minor imperfections. 11.  Large painting on canvas.  This angel appears to be praying over a city that intertwined with a snake/dragon figure.  Measures approx. 30x24 and is in a wood frame.  Minor imperfections. 12.  The nude African American woman is gazing upon a leaping horse.  Measures approx. 27x23.
