It is on wood and is painted in Acrylic paints. The painting is ready for hanging with the attached wire. Approximate Size is 20" wide x 16" tall and is 1/4" thick. Please note the easel and/or props are not included. Mary has been selling her wonderful art worldwide for several years now. Her beautiful folk art paintings are in art collections from Canada to Texas, from England to Kentucky from Greece to Washington, D.C. and many points in-between. Autobiography (Complete autobiography is supplied with each item) Artist: Mary Crochet Art: Louisiana Folk Artist with emphasis on Louisiana Swamp Scenes and Angel depictions Mary Crochet was born Mary Kidder in 1949 in Gonzales, Louisiana. She later attended Gonzales High School. Around the age of 17 I realized that I could paint. My mother was amazed that I had painted a picture. She bought me a paint kit and I learned the basic colors and taught myself... ...I give God my gratitude for all the work I do. He is my inspiration for it all. .....
