This is a very hard to find size and color. Dating back perhaps as far as 1880, this wonderful piece measures only 5 3/4" diameter x 3 3/4" tall, is in beautiful condition with rough copper nails. The banding is tight and overall this pantry box is in excellent condition. There is a hairline surface crack on the interior bottom, but it doesn't go all the way through. This was aquired in Maine from a small estate sale in 2004 on one of my many trips to the east coast.  This excellent piece will make a wonderful addition to any country home or collection.
