When the sun is out, people sit outside with their coffee, books, and papers. When the weather is less welcoming, they sit inside. My favorite coffee shops have fireplaces - wonderful on gray, windy, and rainy days! I have been interested in art since childhood and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Washington in Seattle, where I studied both commercial and fine art. I later studied oil painting in the Russian Impressionist tradition, with Wm F. Reese and three former scholarship students of Sergei Bongart: Lois McFarland, Ron Lukas and Sunny Apinchapong-Yang. My work has been seen in a variety of venues ranging from Metro bus banners, storefronts, and the theater stage, to museums and galleries.
