The Park is along the Sammamish River, which travels from Lake Sammamish to Lake Washington. A bike trail is in the trees across the river. Foot bridges cross in several places. I have been interested in art since childhood and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Washington in Seattle, where I studied both commercial and fine art. I later studied oil painting in the Russian Impressionist tradition, with Wm F. Reese and three former scholarship students of Sergei Bongart: Lois McFarland, Ron Lukas and Sunny Apinchapong-Yang. My work has been seen in a variety of venues ranging from Metro bus banners, storefronts, and the theater stage, to museums and galleries.
