Great condition. DISCUSSION: Fantastically bold in coloration, the rich reds, blues, and greens dominate the entire plain of this surrealist composition. Geometric in form with a slightly whimsical and playful quality that only Miró is able to instill in his works, Dans le grenier à sel is a masterpiece. Subtle splatters of grey with expressive strokes of line illuminate the work from within, with various glimpses of face and characters that are hidden throughout the work. This large-scale print awards the viewer a complete sensory experience, allowing us to delve in to the world of Joan Miró's creative, subconscious imagination. Created in 1975, this work is hand signed by Joan Miró (1893 - 1983) in pencil in the lower right and annotated HC in pencil in the lower left (aside from the roman numeral edition of 13). Published by Maeght, Paris and printed by Morsang, Paris on Arches paper.
