Great condition  Description:This is a very scarce, rare print – the last example of this work that came up for sale was 10 years ago at Sotheby’s, 1998.  Fantastically bold in coloration, the rich reds, blues, and greens dominate the entire plain of this abstracted, lively composition.  With a whimsical and playful quality that only Miró is able to instill in his works, Le Homard features splatters of blue, green and red with expressive strokes of lines which illuminate the work from within.  The humorous lobster with is wide eyes and oddly detailed antennae was printed in large-scale, awarding the viewer a complete sensory experience, allowing us to delve in to the world of Joan Miró’s creative, subconscious imagination. Created in 1969, this work is hand signed by Joan Miró (1893 – 1983) in pencil in the lower right and numbered 60/75 in pencil in the lower left (aside from the edition of 75) .  This work is one of 10 original lithographs that featured prints from various artists to benefit the Swiss Center for Clinical Research on Cancer. Published by Tiefnauspital, Berne and printed by Art Adrien Maeght, Paris on Arches script watermarked paper. Catalogue Raisonné & COA:It is fully documented and referenced in the below catalogue raisonnés and texts (copies will be enclosed as added documentation with the invoices that will accompany the final sale of the work) :   1.
