In excellent condition with a sheet size of 6 x 3. 2) SEAL OF LA ROCHELLE - an original vintage ink drawing by Carr. In excellent condition with a sheet size of 6 x 3 1/2. 3) SEAL OF ? - an original vintage ink drawing by Carr. In excellent condition with a sheet size of 4 3/4 x 4 3/4. This fine drawing has the initials W.T.L and the date 24-1-09 in the lower right hand corner (but by Norman Carr). 4) SEAL OF ? - an original vintage ink drawing by Carr. In excellent condition with a sheet size of 3 3/4 x 6. All of the drawings have various notations in the margins in pencil, but well away from the images. None of the drawings are signed but they came to me in a large collection of Carr drawings from a British Auction House. Carr was a distinguished English Illustrator and these four very fine British School drawings were more than likely for illustrations in a book. Carr is listed in Hidden Talent A Dictionary Of Neglected Artist Working 1880-1950 by Jeremy Wood among others. His work is highly collectable and sells at well know English Auction Houses even today. These very fine vintage British drawings will frame beautifully together.
