Schroeder in the 1960's. These photos were selected and put in this album by Mr. Schroeder himself.  There are 26 photos in all, three in color and the remaining in black and white. There are no existing negatives or duplicates. Mr. Schroeder won trophies and awards for his photography all over the world and at one point was named the sixth greatest photographer in the world. In his later life, he chose to devote his work to the forts and islands and ships of Boston Harbor (He was Edward Rowe Snow's main photographer).  Before that, he took pictures of child models and also for the Boston Ballet.  His work has appeared and is in the permanent collection of museums all over the world. These photographs are astonishing in their beauty and notable for the innocence and freedom that they capture in their subjects. This album is a true work of art.
