The piece is one of the newer ones and is a decorative display free form bowl made from clay and is hand painted with acrylic paint in a matt finish with accents of silver and copper intermingled amongst the neon colors.  The underside of this piece in a purple. It has a wavey sculptured edge which only enhances the beauty of this piece.Measures 16 1/2" x 14" height is 5". This fine piece of contemporay art is created by this wonderful artist at her studio in Long Island NY. She has been recognized locally as an emergiong artist in the field of contemporary ceramic art. The pieces that are being offered(check other listings) have graced her gallery and are now ready to sell. She studied at a local university in NY and holds a masters degree in that field. Held the prestigious position of designing the poem cards for Zanadu Magazine. Has also had her art featured in the magazine  The Exhibitioner. Her pieces have been sold in local galleries and have been shipped all over the world.
